Outreach Schools Workshops 2017
Workshops were based around artwork images by artist Heidi Wickham. Artwork images were taken from Heidi’s exhibition entitled ‘The Whispering of the Bees’.
The Primary Colours Sligo artists facilitated one workshop within the 17 schools and provided the class teachers with a workshop pack so that teachers could continue to develop creative work with their class group.

Gallery Tours & Workshops 2017
The October 2017 Primary Colours gallery tours and workshops linked with the Hyde Bridge Gallery, Yeats Building, Sligo Town.
The tours and workshops were open to 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th class primary school groups and were based around a group exhibition entitled ‘Invited Small Works Exhibition’
The exhibition showcased the work of twelve artists.

Library Exhibition Tours & Workshops 2017
Linking in with Culture Night Sligo 2017, three Sligo primary schools participated in a series of tours and workshops hosted by artist Wayne O’Connor as part of his exhibition ‘Dawns Early Light’ at the Ballymote Library.
Sligo based visual artist and illustrator Wayne O Connor, draws influences from the world of Mythology, Fantasy and Science Fiction in his work.
Participating Schools: Knockminna National School 25 students, Keash National School 25 students, Mhuire Gan Smal National School 25 students
